Dot is the littlest reindeer of them all， but she has dreams of helping to pull Santa’s sleigh。 This is a cute little book， but I couldn’t get past the reindeer having names like “Carl。” It just didn’t fit。

In THE LITTLEST REINDEER， Dot wants to help fly Santa's sleigh， but she's too small。 Her family tries to help her， but it's no use。 Dot is just too little and feels defeated。 Her friend Oliver tries to cheer her up by showing her all of the things she can do。Dot may not be able to fly， run， or jump， but she can make a snowman， play tag， make Christmas cards， and even help others。 Dot realizes there's a lot she can do even though she can't help fly the sleigh yet。 But when a gift gets left behind In THE LITTLEST REINDEER， Dot wants to help fly Santa's sleigh， but she's too small。 Her family tries to help her， but it's no use。 Dot is just too little and feels defeated。 Her friend Oliver tries to cheer her up by showing her all of the things she can do。Dot may not be able to fly， run， or jump， but she can make a snowman， play tag， make Christmas cards， and even help others。 Dot realizes there's a lot she can do even though she can't help fly the sleigh yet。 But when a gift gets left behind， it's up to Dot to save the day （or someone's Christmas I should say）。I thought the illustrations were so cute and I loved how the story had a good moral。 It teaches that just because you can't do something， doesn't mean you're weak or too small。 There's plenty of other things one can achieve。 I also really liked how her family tries to help her learn to fly the sleigh。Final Verdict: This read is perfect for children who love reindeer， especially during Christmas time。 I look forward to reading this one with my little girl on Christmas Eve。 It was a light and enjoyable read with a good message。 。。。more
